THE CHALLENGE

In India, more than 15 million senior citizens stay alone. Loneliness and social isolation are just a few of the issues they face that significantly accentuate their cognitive decline. I wanted to understand what could be done to overcome this social isolation and ameliorate their mental health.

THE proposed SOLUTION

A personalised and specialised AI voice interface companion for seniors would not only keep them preoccupied through conversation but also bridge the gap between them and technology. As I dabble around in the VUI domain and craft an inclusive solution to this pressing problem I seek to conceptualise a robust solution that I can hopefully transform into a tangible product.
